Street Plans executed the second phase of the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization’s BTactical Tactical Urbanism Program in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
In 2021, Street Plans was engaged by the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization to lead the first two phases of its BTactical Tactical Urbanism program within its Complete Streets division.
The Long Island Board of Realtors approached Street Plans to help them identify a location and take on the design, fabrication, and implementation of a signature placemaking project.
Street Plans worked closely with the SoHo Broadway Initiative to implement “Little Prince Plaza”, a temporary public space installation to test the pedestrianization of Prince Street between Mercer Street and Broadway.
Street Plans led the development and implementation of a 1.3 mile pilot project of protected bus and bicycle lanes and over 30,000 sq.ft. of asphalt art on Culver and Washington Boulevards in Culver City, CA.
The Crosstown Greenway Pilot Project in Key West tested new road infrastructure such as curb extensions, sharrows, and crossbike markings on 6 different locations.
Street Plans assisted in the development and led the implementation of the Peachtree Shared Space Demonstration Project.
Street Plans designed and led the installation of the 34th and 37th street entrances to East Lake Park, designed to pay homage to the neighborhood’s large population of Guatemalan families.
Street Plans was hired to implement the Go Ojai Demonstration Project, a six-month interim design project testing the permanent redesign of a .7-mile segment of Maricopa Highway in Ojai, CA.
“A Safer Prospect,” was developed in response to community concern about traffic safety along the corridor. Street Plans led the design and installation of the project.
