Lydon presents the benefits of an Active Living Plan at forum in Freeport, Maine.

The Forecaster reports Mike Lydon’s presentation at a forum helf by the Active Living Task Force in Freeport, Maine.  The Street Plans Collaborative, along with the Task Force, will develop an Active Living Plan for the town by February 2014.  He explained that options to increase pedestrain and cyclist accessibility include increasing sidewalks and bikelanes, improving road signage, and installing traffic lights that respond to cyclists. Forum attendees discussed infrastructure problems ideas for the plan.
